Wastewater Treatment Design

We specialize in residential and commercial septic system design, permitting, and inspection for new construction and replacement systems. We'll help you navigate the process, including

• Understanding your options based on the property and regulations

• Performing feasibility testing when purchasing vacant land

• Designing a system that will work for your needs

• Permitting through government agencies, such as your county Department of Health or the NYC Department of Environmental Protection

• Involving the Catskill Watershed Corporation (CWC) repair and replacement program, if applicable.

Stormwater Management

We evaluate existing conditions of a site and compare them to the proposed development. We'll design a plan to account for proper erosion & sediment control and drainage. We can also provide:

• Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; detention and retention basin design

• Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development and compliance inspections

• Green infrastructure design

• SPDES permitting and MS4 compliance support

• Support for stormwater projects within the NYC watershed, which may be funded by a Catskill Watershed Corporation (CWC) program

Site Civil Design

• Grading, drainage, utility layout, and roadway design for commercial, residential, and municipal projects

• Construction document preparation and contractor coordination

Permitting and Regulatory Support

We manage federal, state, and local permit applications for construction, wetlands, discharge, and land development, including applications to NYSDEC, NYC DEP, NYS DOT, US EPA, US Army Corps of Engineers, and DOH. Additional permitting services include:

• Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS) and Chemical Bulk Storage (CBS) tank registration and management

• Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan preparation for petroleum storage facilities

SPDES outfall/discharge sampling coordination and regulatory reporting

Land Development Planning

• Feasibility studies, conceptual site layouts, and zoning analysis
